Så var det dags för mig att få berätta om Buenos Aires, huvudstad i Argentina och hem för majoriteten av landets befolkning. Jag spenderade 4 dar här men kunde lätt ha stannat 2 veckor. Det finns så mycket att se och folket är så tillmötesgående. Riktigt mysiga kvarter med bra restauranger och caféer blandas med grymma barer och gigantiska nattklubbar med attraktiva argentinskor. Tango är väldigt populärt här och dansas lite överallt, både på gatan och på barer.

Det mest kända kvarteret heter Palermo och innehåller de mest kända restauranger och är ett modernt ställe men mycket nya hus, men det är ohyggligt dyrt här och inget för en backpacker precis. Då finns området San Telmo istället för den som viål komma ner i pris lite. San Telmo är den gamla delen av stad där gatorna är väldigt trånga och små men där jag drack det bästa kaffet.

So it was time for me to tell you about Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina and home to the majority of the country's population. I spent tour days here but could have easily stayed 2 weeks. There is so much to see and the people are so friendly. Really cosy neighborhood with great restaurants and cafes mixed with awesome bars and huge nightclubs with attractive argentinien. Tango is very popular here and dancing a bit everywhere, both on the street and in bars.
The most famous neighborhood called Palermo and contains the most famous restaurants and is a modern place but very new House, but it's hideously expensive here and nothing for a backpacker just. Then there's the San Telmo area instead of the viål come down in price a bit. San Telmo is the old part of the city where the streets are very narrow and small but where I was drinking the best coffee.

Sen så finns även området La Boca, som är mer är förorten men det där det faktiskt var mest färgglatt. Här får man en mix av gamla slitna retro butiker och barer. Dom flesta av husen här har inte renoverats på ett tag men jag gillade det eftersom gav det där gamla en skön touch. Området är känt för att vara hemmaplan för fotbolls laget Boca Juniors, och man kan gå en guidad tur på deras hemmaarena som ligger mitt i.

Det här området ska man ta lite på allvar och inte gå in på gator där ingen befinner sig, då det kan finnas en del skumma typer här. Detta gäller både dagtid och nattetid men mer på natten såklart. Man bör känna till detta och kollat upp gatorna innan man åker hit så man är förbered.

 

Then, there are also the area of La Boca, which is more the suburb but that it was actually the most colorful. Here you get a mix of old worn retro shops and bars. Most of the houses here have not been renovated for a while but I liked it because it gave that old a nice touch. The area is known to be the home ground of the football club Boca Juniors, and you can join a guided tour of their home stadium, which is located in this area. you should take some seriously and not go into the streets where none is present, then there may be some shady types here. This applies to both daytime and night time but more at night of course. You should be aware of this and checked up the streets before you travel here so you are preparing.

 

Jag bodde hos en tjej som jag hittat via Couchsurfing, så jag hade en som visste om stan och visade mig runt. Berättade om dess historia och bara allmänt hjälpte mig, kanon måste jag säga. Det var hon som berättade om allt som kunde hända i La Boca men jag var ju där med henne så hon visste vilka gator vi skulle hänga på.

Hon tog mig också till en köttrestaurang där jag äntligen fick testa på det fantastiska köttet dom har i Argentina. Detta var ett ställe som turister går till utan bara folk som bor där, så man måste känna någon som kan visa en stället, men jag kommer lägga upp namnet på restaurangen. 

Jag "Biff de Chorizo" som dom kallar det här. Jag fick 600 gram rent kött, tyvärr så var köttet medium rare som jag gillar det utan här kör dom oftast medium well.

 

I stayed with a girl that I found through Couchsurfing, so I had one who knew about the town and showed me around. Told of its history and just generally helped me, really great I must say. It was she who told me about everything that could happen in La Boca but I was there with her so she knew what streets we would hang on.
She took me to a steak restaurant where I finally got to try out this amazing meat they have in Argentina. This was a place that tourists go to only the people who live there, so you have to know someone who can view a place, but I'll post the name of the restaurant.
I "Steak de Chorizo" as they call it here. I got 600 grams of pure meat, unfortunately, so was the meat medium rare as I like it, but run them usually medium well.

Andra saker man kan göra är att gå och kolla fotboll då stan har fyra lag. River Plate, Boca Juniors, Indipendiente och Racing Club. Tråkigt nog så är inte ligan igång just nu så jag kunde inte see någon ligamatch.

 

Other things you can do is go and watch football then town has four teams. River Plate, Boca Juniors, Indipendiente and Racing Club. Sadly, this is not the League up and running right now so I could not see any League game.
